To Joe and the family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You lived across the road from us in Platteville (now East Side Road) and were just starting your family. They both were so much fun to be around and put up with Chuck and I when we would come "visiting". I remember watermelon seed spitting contests, riding our bicycles up and down the long driveway, and babysitting the kids when I was old enough. I remember Penny, your German Shepard, getting hurt when she jumped over one of our gates. And I'm sure you figured out where the banty chickens came from in the middle of the night. Yes, that was dad, though you never said anything. Your loss is my loss. I have always remembered all of you with love in my heart. Sincerely, Nancy Johns Bowers

Margaret was always so much fun to be with. We did a lot of lap robe sewing for the nursing homes and had a lot of good times and laughs. She was always ready to help with most anything. She will be greatly missed by a lot of people. God bless...

I met Margaret through Farm Bureau women....she was a sweet., gentle woman always willing to help with any oroject. In later years was very generous in creating baby quilts to help with the Pleasant View mission project for a birthing clinic and hospital in northern Tanzania. A woman wirh a very caring, loving heart. Kristie Popp
