One of the funniest memories I have of mom, is when we took a family trip to Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at a place called the Days End, which had a pool and slide. She was scared to go down the slide, but we convinced her to go anyway. She giggled all the way down, but once she reached the end, for some reason, she would throw her shoulders back, making her body straight. We thought she was going to hit her head on the end of the slide, but somehow never did. She went down several times, and did the same thing each time! Much laughter ensued and that moment was solidified in our hearts!
