Doris Mathis

I walked by their house on Ellen St. back when my son was a baby. (20 years ago) Doris was always outside with her cat, she was such a peaceful and lovely lady. She always loved to talk, I had moved and missed those talks. Just wanted to say how sweet and that she is missed.

Jim and Lambie Mathis gave me my first job working at the Hearthside (1964-1968). I have fond memories of sitting at the "family" table after a long night of work having a late night supper with all the staff. Lambie was a kind and gracious lady. I will miss her greatly. Thanks for everything. Chip
