My sincere condolences to Joyce and family. Al was respected by students, their parents and his colleagues. He was one of the good ones and will be missed by all who knew him. I can’t attend Al’s Celebration of Life but I know there will be many smiles and tears of appreciation as his family and friends share their memories.

I will always have my first memory of Alan as a strong young college man who took the front sidewalk steps of his parents’ home three at a time when he came home to visit. He had a true zest for living to the fullest. I am so very sorry for Joyce and all who will miss him but I know that he will stay in their hearts forever.
