Marlene K. Jones, 74, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died on Friday, July 1, 2022. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM (Noon), Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Marlene was born on October 5, 1947 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Ernest and Gertrude (Pennekamp) Reese. She graduated from Platteville High School. On February 27, 1965 she was united in marriage to Leroy Jones at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Marlene worked at Reynold's Market, O'Neill Shoes, and Farm & Fleet. For many years she worked for Pickel Barrel and Subway, Platteville. She volunteered for the Thrift Store, and later was hired to work for store. Marlene enjoyed antiquing and going to flea markets.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy; two children, Tony (Carla) Jones and Tina (Paul) Alderson; two grandchildren, Jacie (fiance, Joren Tengesdal) Jones and Zachary Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Reese and sister, Linda Loehman.
