Eugene Reynolds

Eugene H. Reynolds, 91, of Potosi, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Potosi. Father Richard Leffler will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the church. “Gene” was born on August 27, 1931 in Lancaster, Wisconsin, son of Paul and Edna (Wentz) Reynolds. He was united in marriage to Kathleen “Kate” Landon on January 26, 1954 at St. Clement's Catholic Church, Lancaster. She preceded him in death on August 7, 2004. He was a lifelong farmer, where he milked, raised pigs and beef. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Potosi. Gene thoroughly loved the land and outdoors. He always enjoyed going on UTV rides on his land, especially in the bottom, where he gardened for many years, which he would share the fruits of his labor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and morel hunting.

Eugene is survived by his three children, Chuck (Jaci) Reynolds, Pam (Louie) Leibfried and Wayne (Karen) Reynolds all of Potosi; seven grandchildren, Rachel (Mike), Randy, Robin (Dale), Ted (B.J.), Tony (Katie), Tami Jo (Andy) and Jonathan; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild with one on the way; one sister, Ruth Knutson of Lancaster, WI; sisters-in-law, Millie Reynolds of Kieler, WI, and Nettie Glass of East Moline; brother-in-law, Robert Landon of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kate; son, Randy and his parents.
