So sad to here of Miss Rock's passing...that's how I remember her from the North Hickory Street neighborhood...Miss Rock. She was always so kind and had a beautiful smile for all the neighborhood kids. Rest in peace. ❤

I will always consider Miss Rock (Hutcheson) as my favorite teacher. While attending the Doudna Laboratory School she was my 2nd grade teacher. She was ways so kind, patient and understanding. I was amazed when she attended my mothers funeral many years later. Kind as always. Such as loss to the teaching profession.

"Miss Rock" was a professor for many of my classes at UWP. I have many memories of her classes, including when we learned how to write nicely on a chalkboard! Her legacy lives on in all of the teachers she shared her knowledge with. May she rest in peace. Terri Gill Hafenbreadl
