She was one of a kind, enjoyed long conversations with her and miss her huge hugs. Told my wife Lynn that until Aunt Liz gave the ok she wasn't part of the family. We had that girl so nervous to meet her, but of course Aunt Liz welcomed her in with open arms and that great ear to ear smile. They don't make them like her anymore.

Liz was an amazing woman and will always be tied to her husband Jim in my memories. From the first time I met the Bartles when I was about 7, over 40 years of good memories were made. Liz was always offering a meal, conversation, a smile and a hug. Memories of bowling at Back of the Yards, visiting at their house and the countless trips up north will always be part of my life and my connection with the Bartles. Brenda and Paul Bartle will forever be some of my closest and best friends even though we rarely get to visit. Rest in piece Liz. You raised some amazing children and have an amazing legacy in your grand and great grand children.
