Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" M. Prall, 85, of Platteville, WI, died peacefully in her home surrounded by love, Saturday, March 9, 2024. Per Jackie's wishes, there will be no formal services. Jackie was born September 30, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Jack and Nellie (Hansen) Prall. She was one of the first initial hires at Walmart in Platteville and continued working there for nearly forty years. Work was her pride and her employees brought her joy. They were family. During the day she liked to bird watch. She also loved Chinese food and a good evening of Bingo. To all those who knew her she was a warm, loving, kind, and compassionate person.

Jackie is survived by her children, Lawrence (Lanette) Simpson, of Tampa, Florida, Kathy (Gary) Karr, of Benton, Arkansas, Kelly Simpson, of Bushnell, IL, Karen (Brian) Rupiper, of Ormond Beach, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and her dog, Annie.
Jackie was proceded in death by her parents; a brother Larry Prall; and a great-grandson, Brandon Dailey.
