Dennis Grimesey

Dennis Arthur Grimesey, 63, of Dane, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home Thursday, February 22, 2024 following a long battle with cancer. Per Dennis' wishes there will be no formal services. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Melby Funeral Home &Crematory of Platteville, Wisconsin is assisting the family. Dennis was born July 22, 1960, the son of Harry and Irene (Sharp) Grimesey. On March 11, 2004, he married Debora in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Dennis loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, singing karaoke and had a fond love of snakes.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Debora Grimesey; mother Irene (Don) Best, step-mother Shirley Grimesey, children, Chad Grimesey, Shawna Grimesey, Tosha (Saige Randell) Rozelle, Gina (Gene) Grimesey, Denny (Cailey) Grimesey, Xach (Jasmine) Grimesey, Brad (Caroline) Olson, Mike (Shaila ) Olson, Nikita (Matt) Cavan and Derek Olson, 30 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, siblings, Gladys (Paul) Grimesey-Smith, Darcy (Kim) Grimesey, Daren (Christine) Grimesey, John Best, Dawn Grimesey and Brian Grimesey. He was preceded in death by his father, father-in-law Richard Manthey, grandparents Art and Iona Sharp and infant sister Tina Marie Grimesey.
