Mary Fink

Mary Ann Fink, 82, of Belmont died Thursday, July 4, 2024.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont, WI.  Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Belmont.  Visitation will be from 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to the Mary Ann Fink Memorial Fund. The  Melby Funeral Home and Crematory of Platteville, WI is serving the family.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Mary Ann was born on March 5, 1942 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, daughter of Basil and Viola (Rosemeyer) Ludlum.  She graduated from Belmont High School, class of 1960 and attended UW-Platteville, for a short time.  Mary Ann was united in marriage to Max Fink on October 5, 1963 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Belmont.  Max preceded her in death on November 27, 2020.  She was an active member of St. Philomena Catholic Church, where she taught religious ed for many years.  She worked at the Belmont Cheese factory, Cushman's Greenhouse, and for the Belmont Schools. Mary Ann served as Belmont Township treasurer for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and following the “Fighting Irish” of Notre Dame.  She attended all of her children's sporting and school events and loved spending time with her grandsons.

Mary Ann is survived by her four children, Cee Cee Fink, Craig (Sherry) Fink, Christy (Fudd Weyer) Fink, and Charlie (Tara Mick) Fink; two grandsons, Declan and Konnor Fink; brother, Larry (Sharon) Ludlum; sister-in-law, Diane Ludlum; brother-in-law, Norbert Fink and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, Basil and Viola Ludlum and brother, Tom Ludlum.
