Vickie Lynn Rako, 65, of Arthur, Wisconsin, formerly of Dubuque, Iowa, died on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Mercy One, Dubuque. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Vickie was born on March 3, 1959 in Grant County, Wisconsin, daughter of Norbert and Geraldine (Severson) Rako. Vickie graduated from Platteville High School, Class of ‘77'. She later went on to receive her BS in Psychology from Clarke College, Dubuque.
Vickie is survived by her children, Paul Chase and Amy Chase; sister, Kelly (Bernie) Alt; brother, Mark “Vinnie” (Marcia) Rako and many nieces and nephews, along with her special friend, Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Geraldine.
