Steven Spink

Steven Paul Spink, 68, of Madison, WI died peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.  Steven was born the son of Paul and Devona Spink in Baltimore, Maryland on July 21, 1956. Steven graduated from Severna Park High School, Severna Park, MD in 1974.  He later attended the University Maryland in College Park, MD.  In 1990, Steven moved to Madison to be with family.  

Steven was active for many years in Madison in the Chrysalis program and more recently in the Off the Square Club.  Steven was an aficionado of rock music of the 1960s through the 1980s.  The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Eric Clapton were among his favorites.  Steven was also an avid sports fan, following the Brewers, the Packers, and the Bucks.  Steven enjoyed drawing, painting and hiking on nature trails.  He always kept abreast of national and Wisconsin politics.   Steven very much enjoyed family time and the visits with his parents, brothers and sisters-in-law.    

Steven is survived by his brothers, William G. (Valerie) Spink and David C. (Barbara) Spink, his uncle Charles (Libby Kowalski) Spink, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Devona Spink.  The burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, WI, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
