Ken was a mentor of mine after I was introduced to him in an educational psychology class! He made a lasting impression on me in my personal and professional life as an educator and counselor. He was not just another professor at UWP but became a friend! Lifting up his family at this time!

My sympathies to the entire Beighley family. Unfortunately I have a prior engagement Tuesday and will not be able to attend his service. Doc was one of my favorite teachers at UWP in the early 70's. We then bowled together on Thursday afternoons for about a quarter of a century. I especially enjoyed our rides to and from State Senior bowling tournaments. With always just he and I in the car I was prepared for some heavy duty conversations, and I was never disappointed! He was a great man and will be missed by so many! God's Peace.

I'm sure what I write will be echoed by many. Dr. B. was truly a treasure. W My sister and I got to know him through E.V. Free Church and UWP both. If I just needed a listening ear or that special Dr. B. smile or words of wisdom when I doubted my education major, he was always there. I know our Lord has a special place for him in heaven, and he is reunited with Shirley once again.
