Obituary

Vicki Lynn Becker, 73, of Platteville, WI, died Saturday, September 21, 2024.  She was born June 8, 1951, the daughter of Albert and Gladys (Law) Grinnall in Savanna, Illinois.  Vicki was a registered nurse starting in 1972 and began working at Southwest Health Center in 1979 until her retirement in  2017.  On August 18, 1973, she was united in marriage to Daniel Becker in Savanna, IL.  Vicki enjoyed reading, walking, puzzle books and riding her own motorcycle.  She especially enjoyed spending time with family.

Vicki is survived by her husband Dan, her children, Shane (Elisabeth) Becker, Lance (Sarah) Becker and Heather (Eric Johnson) Becker, grandchildren, Claire and Lucas Becker, sister, Cheryl (Doug) Rogers, brothers, Steve (Michelle) Grinnall, sisters-in law, Connie Becker and Pat (Joe) Rosengren and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daryl Grinnall.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2024, with a memorial service to follow at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, WI. Food will be provided after. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melbyfh.com.

Dan and family, So sorry for your loss. I remember Vicki when I worked at SW back in the early '90's. Wonderful person. I only remember good things about her.
