Carole Rae Goltry, 83, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Per her personal wishes there will be no formal services. Carole was born on November 27, 1940, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ray and Edwina (Hof) Reese. She was united in marriage to Thomas Goltry on August 12, 1961, at the Dodgeville Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2017. Carole was an English teacher throughout her professional career retiring from the Belmont Community School District. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good game of Bridge.

She is survived by two children, Scott Goltry and Anne Otto; three granddaughters, Hayley (Joey) Suthers, Molly and Lilly Otto; one great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death also by her parents, sister, Alice Melandri and brother, Philip Reese.
