I will always remember Uncle Russ with that smile. He would always dress sharp and occasionally straighten my collar if it wasn't. Always wondered if he was going to tell a joke or be really serious. Lots of love and hugs to all of you. He was a good man and a kind soul. Fly to the angels!!

My deepest sympathy to all of the Stuhr family. I will never forget Russ' smile. It was beautiful! Russ worked for me for many years at UW-Platteville. Russ was a great employee. He also enjoyed working with students, and getting to know them in the Res Halls. The students absolutely loved Russ. Some students Russ worked with became good friends. Russ always asked me for his yearly vacation time off. Guess why???? It was Daniel O'Donnell time in Branson! Russ and Jean, loved Daniel. I did not know who Daniel O'Donnell was. I never heard of him. Well! Believe me, Russ filled me in on Daniel's life story. When he told me who Daniel was, it was always with a BIG smile, and a spark in his eyes! When Russ and Jean returned from their yearly trip to Branson to hear Daniel, he filled me in on the WHOLE trip, in detail. I will close with this. RUSS, YOU WILL BE MISSED!!! Godspeed, Russ!!! .
