Marsha, Jay and Jodi: Our hearts go out to you and your family. We are heartbroken that Paul passed away. Paul was awesome to work with (when you had the shop) and just talking to. Enjoyed every moment of the conversations with Paul. The McDermott family means so much to us (Stacy, Miranda, Brittany), please know we are here for you. Rick Lenz

Marcia, you probably will not remember Hank and Katie Landon who were cousins and friends of John and Alvina McDermott. I am their daughter. I was a close friend of Jeanie Gille until she passed away. I knew the whole McDermott family. Sending my sympathy to you and your family. I am married to Norman Mueller. Catherine Landon Mueller

I met Paul and Marsha when they were just setting up McDermott's Service & Repair on Seybold Rd. Just so happened that I was moonlighting at Open Pantry down the road and saw their sign. I went in and was immediately offered a donut, so I knew t his is where I had to take my car from then on. These were real people. Paul was an excellent mechanic, as well as being fair and honest.
