Sandra Baker

Sandra Kay Baker, 78, passed away on March 17, 2025. Born on November 17, 1946, to Robert S. and Wilma (Adams) Baker in Mineral Point, WI. Sandy graduated from the Mineral Point School System, attended UW-Platteville, and went on to have a long career with UW-Extension in Madison. She recently moved back to Mineral Point to enjoy her retirement with outings, meals, keeping up with work friends and reconnecting with school friends. Sandy was an avid Longaberger collector and Mah Jong whiz. She was a wealth of genealogical knowledge of both the Baker and Adams family.

Sandra is survived by her younger brother, Bob Baker (Robin White), her very loved miniature Yorkie Emmie, niece Catherine Block and children, TR and Will, nephew James Baker and children Olivia and Jaden (Chandra McDowell), sister-in-law Dodie Baker, aunts Gerry (Adams) Dott and Marilyn (Adams) Owens.

A Celebration of Life Brunch for Sandra will be held at The Red Room Bar in Dodgeville, WI, on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Private interment at Graceland Cemetery, Mineral Point, WI, will be held this spring. Memorials may be made to the Iowa County Humane Society and Upland Hills Hospice.
