Obituary

Patricia A. Beaulieu, 74, of Platteville, WI died on Sunday, March 30, 2025.  She was born in Algona, Iowa the daughter of Willard and Merna (Jennings) Gregson.  Pat was a graduate of Algona High School.  She received her batchelor's degree from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, IA and a master's degree in school administration from the University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls.  On January 26, 1970, Pat was united in marriage to Arthur Beaulieu in Algona.  Her career took her from teaching to Principal, with her last position as Principal in the Cuba City School District.   Pat enjoyed attending swim class at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and going to McDonald's with the girls.

 

Pat is survived by her daughter Anne Beaulieu and her children Logan, Lola and Lex, son, Scott (Sarah) Beaulieu and their children, Carter, Jackson and Sophie, sister, Marilyn Loebach and brother, Marv (Shirley) Simpson.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, WI.  There will be a time of sharing at 2:00 PM.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.

So glad we had a chance to have dinner with Pat a month ago when she was in Ankeny, Iowa to see her brother. I worked with Art at KAYL radio in Storm Lake, Iowa. It had been many years since we had seen Pat. Our sympathies to Pat and Art’s family.

Hi My name is Rose. I work at J&J Pool and Spa. I have been there 8 years and always enjoyed talking to Pat and Art. I just learned of Pats passing and wanted you to know she will be missed . My sympathies to your families.
