Nancy is remembered with smiles for being a spunky firecracker who cherished her Italian roots. She shared her stories of growing up Italian with her readers as well as relating how a city girl learned how to help her Farmer.  She transitioned from anecdotal columns to becoming a true advocate for agriculture which gained her devoted readers over the years.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their kind words and extend gratitude to the staff of Edenbrook and St. Croix Hospice for the care they gave Nancy during her stay.

Per Nancy's wishes, there will not be any visitation or formal services. Melby Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Online condolence can be expressed at www.melbyfh,com.

I am sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. I read her Agri News column most every week and missed it when she retired. She had a unique perspective of life that I recognized from my grandparents and it took me back to earlier times. She was truly a treasure.
