To Karen’s family ~ you all have my deepest, most heartfelt sympathy. I grew up on Siemers Street, just a few houses down from Karen and the Kabele family. I spent a lot of time with them and loved them all very much. They were a wonderful family. I actually babysat with Karen at times when she was little. She was always such a sweetheart. I left Platteville in 1973 but often visited the Kabele family when I came back to visit my own family. In the days ahead I will be praying for all of you as you now try to figure out how to go on without her. I am so sorry for your loss.

Karen was my first cousin and was a kind soul, she lost her daughter and they will enjoy each other in heaven
