Radella Sertle

Radella M. Sertle, 90, of Platteville, WI died Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Radella was born July 4, 1935, the daughter of Clifford and Viola (Koenig) Corpian.  On September 27, 1952, she was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Sertle in Galena, IL.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 2004.  

Radella worked with Chuck making mattresses for Banworth & Udelhofen.  She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery.  Radella also loved to cook and bake when she was able.

Radella was survived by her children, Rick (Chris) Sertle, Kris Key and Cliff Sertle, grandchildren, Jessica (Clint) Rose, Jason (MacKenzie) Sertle, Justin Sertle, Amber Sertle, Kathy (Shawn) Merrick, Steve (April) Johnson, great-grandchildren, Gavin and Zoey Rose, Thomas, Theodore and Charley Sertle, Austin and Paige Sertle, Landon Denzer, Megan and Kaylie Merrick and Brandon, Kenny, Camden and Ian Johnson, great-great-grandchildren, Ebony, Willow Raylan Jaxon and Mariah, sisters, Bonnie Herlache and Linda Perry.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Cheryl Sertle, son-in-law, Paul Key, daughter-in-law Lori Sertle, great-great-grandchild, Kathryn, sister, Sharon Richardson and brother, Kenneth Corpian.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, WI.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
