Nicholas Evanchik

My sympathies, sending hugs to you all.

So very sad for all of those family members in Wisconsin. I know all of you. I met "Doc" in early 1966, shortly after I arrived on the Pratt in Mayport Fl. 60 years is a long to have such a good and faithful friend as Nick. We played in a band together in Vietnam, but more importantly we shared our lives together .... especially in California. I miss him so much and have nothing but fond thoughts of our lives together. God planted this relationship for me and for Doc. We let it grow. Rest in peace my sailor buddy. May all of his family know that he was loved and respected by many. I salute you my brother!

Woulda shoulda coulda... but we didn't. Ages 1-5 we had a good time. My family moved to Milwaukee. Aunt Anne and family moved to Milwaukee for a while then settled in Rockford, IL. Age 18 after HS, joined the AF and never looked back. Settled here in O'Fallon, IL after retiring from the AF , grew roots and in the same house for 35 yrs. Your mission in life is done. Rest now.
