Sandra Jones

Sandra L. Jones, 82, of Platteville, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.  As per Sandy's wishes, there will be no formal services.

Sandy was born in Danville, IL on March 24, 1943 the daughter of George and Leona (Becker) Luke.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Jones, Jr. USAF on October 20, 1961.  Sandy and Joe lived the military life, traveling across the country and Canada during Joe's 20 years of military service.  In the mid-seventies, they moved back to Platteville.  After the move to Platteville, Sandy worked as a real estate agent.  She also held the position of President of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #5274.  Sandy was known for her silly quick wit and enjoyed gardening, sewing and good game of cards with her friends.

Sandy is survived by her special friend Steve “Savage” Reed, sister-in-law Vicky (Jones) Miles and brother-in-law Frank Doser, many nieces and nephews and friends Karen Dailey and Jerry and Rose Adams.  She was preceded in death by husband, Joe, parents George and Leona Luke, father and mother-in-law, Joe and Gertie Jones, as well as her sisters, Eileen, Violet and Thelma, brothers-in-law, Bob and Carl Jones, John Miles, sisters-in-law, Hattie (Jones) Burrows and Linda (Jones) Doser.
