Nicholas "Nick" Timmerman

Nicholas "Nick" Timmerman, 60, passed away on October 29, 2026 at his home in Cuba City. He was born on August 1, 1966, the son of James and Joan (Schroeder) Timmerman.

Nick was a die hard Green Bay Packer fan, who never missed watching a game. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed every moment he could share with them at the family gatherings over the years. Nick was a quiet soul who lived a simple life, and enjoyed spending time at home with his dogs.

Nick is survived by his beloved siblings: Jackie Hale of Platteville, Wisconsin; James (Docha) Timmerman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mary Jo (Bruce) Droessler of Cuba City, Wisconsin; Betty Burkholder of Marion, Iowa; Darrel (Janet) Timmerman of Platteville, Wisconsin; Mike (Paula) Timmerman of Platteville, Wisconsin; and Randy (Pam) Timmerman of Hazel Green, Wisconsin one uncle: Gerald Schroeder and many nieces and nephews along with his beloved dog Haley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, brothers: Gerald and Roger Timmerman, brother-in-law: Earl Hale, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Melby Funeral Home (1245 N. Water Street) in Platteville, WI. on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Melby Funeral Home is serving the family.


Nick will be remembered fondly by his family and all who knew him.
