I first met Lou Anna and Fred when they were sitting on their front porch. They often waved at me as I rode by on my bike, and one day I stopped. Lou Anna immediately made me feel as if I were her best friend. As I came to know her, I found out that she had many "best friends". She was interested in everyone and everything and was a great listener and a friend to many. It was my pleasure to know her. Lou Anna, we love you and miss you. Rest in Peace. Mary

Our family spent a lot of enjoyable times with the Domann family during the twenty-five years we lived in Platteville. Jean and I always felt that of all the people we knew Lou Anna was truly special and we loved her very much. This world ain't the same without her.

I was a neighbor of the Domanns as a young child during their time on Middle Road in Colchester, Vermont. I remember scary geese, amazing tomatoes and a warm and loving family centered around Lou Anna. May her memory be a blessing. Erik Nelson
