Aunt Kathy came to visit me here in Virginia, and true to form, she couldn’t sit still. While she was here, she decided to tackle the water marks on my glass shower. I told her not to bother—I’d get to it myself. She just smiled and said, “You can’t stop me. This is my way of showing you how much I love you.” That was Aunt Kathy in a nutshell. And I have to say, those water stains stayed off that sparkling shower for years after she cleaned it.

kathy you are such a wonderful grandma to me I will miss all of those inappropriate jokes how she can go from being on flames to being the most beautiful nice person in 20 minutes I will miss how much she cared for me even though she’s not my blood
