Tom Heiser

Tom was an excellent mentor for me at Heiser Hardware. He hired me when I was in Platteville High School and I continued to work with him through my time at UW-P. I learned much about tools, fasteners, plumbing, paint and so much more during that time that helped me in my career and as a handyman. Thanks Tom. A life well lived.

Tom & the Heiser family were wonderful friends to the Lonsberg family over the years. Anytime we needed something Heiser's was the place to look first. Lenny did my Christmas shopping there because he knew Helen would gift wrap for him. If they didn't have it in the store we'd go to the back & look thru the big catalogs to order it. Tom was always smiling & friendly when you came in. He leaves an awesome legacy. Hugs & prayers to the Heiser family

Just a super guy to be around when I lived in Platteville in the 80s. Enjoyed wanderinghis store at the top of Main. He made it fun to bowl against his team at Arcade Lanes. Very sad to hear he passed away. We lost a good one. Dave Haskins.

Tom hired me at the store while going to college in the 90's. He was a great guy to work for and he taught me many things. Karen and family I am sorry for your loss. from him

Rest in peace Tom. We grew up one block from each other. We had lots of fun with the putput riding it around the block. Along with lots of other things over the years growing up.
