Dolores "Dee" Schuppener

Dolores “Dee” M. Schuppener, 94, of Platteville, WI died on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Edenbrook in Platteville.

Dee was born, the daughter of Leslie and Marie (Vesperman) Sandleback, on May 13, 1932.  She was united in marriage to Neil Schuppener on September 23, 1953 at the Methodist Parsonage in Lancaster, WI.  Neil preceded her in death on June 19, 2005.  Dee had worked at various part-time jobs, then for over 40 years, she worked alongside her husband at Mound City Industries.  Dee enjoyed baking, canning, yard work and gardening.  Traveling was also a joy for her.

Dee is survived by her son, Bruce (Deb) Schuppener, daughter, Becki Voigts, daughter-in-law, Linda Schuppener, grandchildren, Brett (Cassidy Watt) Schuppener, Scott (Leah) Schuppener, Renee (Ty Dunn) Schuppener, Jamie (Jim) Kluge, Kari (Nick) Geyer, Jessica (Ryan) Leibfried and Jason (Sara) Voigts, Michelle (William) Drew-Rodriguez and Matthew (Hilary) Schuppener and 17 great-grandchildren, sisters, Donna (David) Elmer and Arlene Roesch and brother-in-law, William Becker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil, son, Mark Schuppener, son-in-law, Fritz Voigts, sister-in-law, Karen Schuppener, parents and sister, Betty Becker.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville.  The Celebration will conclude with a Prayer Service officiated by Father Dave Flanagan.  Burial will be at a later date.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.melbyfh.com.
