Norma Jean Bierman, 85, of Cuba City, WI died on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. She was born January 24, 1941, the daughter of Kenneth and Frances (Beyer) Goke. Norma graduated from Livingston High School in 1958. On September 27, 1957, she married Carl Bierman. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2022.
Norma was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting and cooking. Everyone loved her pea salad, it was the best. Norma was a fan of the Brewers, Badgers, especially basketball, Green Bay Packers and the PGA. She and Carl were snowbirds, enjoying many winters in Arizona.
Norma is survived by her children, Jean O’Flahrity, Kim Sundwall, Teresa Bierman and Ronald (Beth) Bierman, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, sisters, Cheryl Menon, Judy (Steve) Scott, Joann (Mark) Cotter and Janice (Ed) Kaucic, sisters-in-law, Lynn Goke and Jan Bierman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, parents, Sons-in-law, Lee O’Flahrity and Ken Sundwall, great-grandson, Wyatt Viken-Bierman, brother, Terry Goke and brother-in-law, Sath Menon.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, WI. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery.
