David Canny

David Canny was my optometry mentor in the late 1960s. We enjoyed practicing together, but he also showed me some of the best trout streams in southwest Wisconsin and the best places to find antique furniture to refinish. We spent a whole year redoing a unique little office in Hazel Green with antiques. Every year lately when I came to Platteville to visit my Dad, I would marvel at the nature trails and other projects that David Canny was a principal in. Platteville has lost a friend and a very good man.

I am so very sorry to hear about Dr Canny. Back in 69/70 I worked for him at his office in my father's (Bernard Kuhle)office building in Hazel Green. I enjoyed that experience, learned a great deal and thought very highly of Dr. Canny. I know he will be missed by many. My prayers and hugs go out to you his family and friends.
