Jasper Dean Sanders

Jasper Dean Sanders, infant son of Jessie and Stacey (Johnson) Sanders ended his fight for life on Sunday, January 24, 2010 due to complications from an infection. Jasper was born 10 weeks early on January 7, 2010 and spent all of his seventeen days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. In addition to his parents, Jasper is survived by his sister, Dai Mixson of Verona; maternal grandparents, Dean and Pam (Kjos) Johnson of Lancaster, WI; paternal grandmother, Debbie Bowers of Plymouth, MN; great-grandfather, Ron Kjos of Lancaster; great-grandmothers, Shirley Johnson of Belle Plaine, MN; and Marie Millette of Portage, WI; aunts Kristy and God Mother, Jill Johnson, uncle Michael Johnson and cousin Devon Bentley all of Lancaster. Jasper is also survived by a special family friend, his God Father, Matthew Bowen of St. Louis Park, MN. Taking turns rocking Jasper in Heaven are his grandfather, Lee Jasper Kyles, great-grandmother, Nancy Kjos and great-grandfather, Don Johnson. Jasper's short but precious life will be honored with a private family service on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Lancaster United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.
