Mr Ross was one of my high school freshman teachers. Then it was an honor to teach with him for ten years. A good guy.

I am saddened to hear about Mr. Ross. Mr. Ross was my 7th grade science teacher. He was my first science teacher that knew a lot about science. I was really turned on to science by him. I became a science teacher because of his inspiration and taught high school biology for two years and 7th and 8th grade science for 29 years. I am retired now and will never forget Mr. Ross.

Mr. Ross was my middle school science/math teacher in the mid '80's. He made such an impression on me and so many others. I often think of him and smile about the memories from his class. I always loved the various critters that he kept in the back room. Sometimes we even got to feed them crickets. I am now a teacher in Kenosha, WI. I will consider my career a success if I can inspire half as many students as Mr. Ross has. Your family has my sincere condolences.

I had the pleasure of attending Community Evangelical Free Church with Arnie. I also was a student of his when attending Platteville Middle School. I will miss his smiling face and brief conversations after Sunday services. My deepest condolences and prayers for his family.

You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. I have very fond memories of your dad. I was probably one of the only kids in our class that couldn't wait to hold the snakes. Many times I had one with me at my desk. Arnie truly loved teaching and I truly enjoyed having him as my teacher. He taught both my mother and my siblings and I. My mom, Gail, thought a great deal of your father. God bless, Keely
