Betty Sander, 84, of Platteville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Manor Care, Platteville. A private memorial is being planned by the family. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

Betty was born on Oct. 2, 1930 to Jesse and Iva Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Sander, of almost 66 years; children, Connie (Robert) Striffolino; Kent (Mary Ann) Sander; Steve (Deb) Sander; Sherry (Dusty) Pothour; LeAnn (Rich) Hoffman; Lee (Joan) Sander; Aron (Sheral) Sander; Avonne (Chuck) Bonin; Lori (Steve) Gehrke; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, John (Dorothy) Taylor and Bob (Julie) Taylor.
