Robert Rice

I am so sorry to hear about Bob (or as I and others called him "Bo-Bo") passing away. He was a great guy! We go way back...to the days in Platteville hanging out at "The Shute" (sp?) with Ron Olson and Steve Cullen and the gang. I really enjoyed running into him here in Madison, however, I had lost track of him these past few years. I knew he was working for the USPS but suddenly didn't get to run into him. My sympathy to his family. He really was a fun guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be missed!!!!!!!! Barb Wulf (originally from Lancaster WI)

My thoughts and prayers to Bob's family. He came to the Main Tap where I work to enjoy one of his favorite brews on tap. I would always kid him saying another day off Bobby Rice? He was truly a wonderful kind man. Sorry for your loss.

Bob's birthday party, probably in first or second grade, was the first birthday party for a school mate that I ever attended. I remember it being an honor having been invited and having great fun. And in high school I remember him as smiling and laughing. My heart is heavy and my prayers are with the family. Alan

I'm so sorry for your loss. Bob was my friend & co-worker & will be truly missed. I'm glad I was able to visit him a few times at the end & meet his sister Joann. I always had a good time with Bob, he was always ready & willing to go out. It's just not going to be the same without him

Although we did not know Robert, we are sure, based on the zest for life and sense of humor of the rest of the clan, that he was a wonderful guy who will be sorely missed.
