Bernie and Family: You have my sincere sympathy in your loss. If you look up the word "trooper" in the dictionary you will see a picture of Bev. She was a great inspiration to all and will be very much missed.

Dear Bernie and family, I was saddened to learn that Bev had passed away, yet the first thing that came to my mind was how she always seemed so upbeat, for example, when I would see her in church getting communion. I am familiar with the role of caregiver, especially the husband giving care to his wife, and you Bernie were like my dad in so many ways. You were always to upbeat as well. I wish to extend my best wishes to you and your family going forward. God Bless all of you. Sincerely, Jeff Mergen

Bev and I were great friends since fourth grade when I started at the "Lab" school connected with Platteville Teachers College. I have many good memories of her and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She never complained about her arthritis to me, no matter how much pain she was suffering. When she met you Bernie I thought she had met the right one. Although our contact over the years have drifted apart I think of her often. I thank you for all the assistance you have given her over the years. I know you and the family will miss her greatly. You are all in my prayers.
