Verla, You know I have lived in Peoria for 20 years and come back "home" to see folks and keep family property and also get senior center meals...I try to keep in touch with those I grew up with and was saddened to learn of your husband's passing. He must have been in brother Michael's PHS class...Michael is retired pediatrician and resides in Henderson, NV winters and Helena, MT during summer and trout fishes, etc. You have been a faithful caregiver I am sure as I was with my mom, Zelma, for a long while. It isn't easy but we do it for the ones we love and care about...I remember your folks so well from church and scouts. Please accept my deepest sympathy in Don's passing. Verla, Chris and family: Sorry to hear about Donnie's passing. I remember the many nights of playing cards at each others houses.
