James Ronald “Ronnie” Saxon Jr., 49, of Livingston, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, after a brief illness. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Memorials may be made to the James Ronald “Ronnie” Saxon Jr. Memorial Fund. James was born on March 15, 1966 in Augusta, GA, the only son of James Ronald and Mary (Tilby) Saxon. He was united in marriage to Deborah (Pierce) Moore on July 27, 2007 in North Augusta, SC. Ronnie grew up in Augusta, and graduated from Augusta Christian School. Even after moving to Livingston, his heart was always in Augusta. After high school he worked as a printer for the family business, later becoming a roofer. He enjoyed football, golfing, and fishing. Ronnie was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was Pentecostal in faith. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; mother, Mary; four step-children, Keith, Chris, Jennifer, and Jason Moore; and best friends, Eric Synder, Erick Cheek, and Becky Conklin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and Ed Tilby and Faye and Fabian Saxon; and his father, James Sr.
