Rodney White

Rodney Dale White, 55, passed away with his family by his side on July 12, 2015, at his home in Hereford, Arizona, after a 7 month fight with lung cancer.

Rodney was born in 1960 in Lancaster, Wisconsin, growing up in the area and graduating from Platteville High School before moving to Sierra Vista in 1986. Shortly after moving to Sierra Vista, Rodney went to work for Mike and Dan Rutherford at Rutherford Diversified Industries becoming a big part of their family and quickly becoming a supervisor. Rodney worked at RDI for over 29 years.

Everyone who knew Rodney loved him for his energy, his sense of humor, and knew him as a great father, husband, brother, and son. A lifelong Cheesehead. Rodney was a diehard fan and part owner of the Green Bay Packers. He loved NASCAR racing and Dale Earnhardt, using every race day as an excuse to make a big pot of goulash or chili and relax in his recliner (sneak in a nap). He couldn't resist a cold glass of chocolate milk or a hot streak off the grill. In his spare time Rodney also enjoyed sitting on his front porch observing the local wildlife.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cherry, his daughter Whitney, his son Wesley (Sarah), his mother Donna (Delbert) Pluemer, and his brothers Richard (Bonnie), Randy (Cindy), Russell (Michelle), Bart (Kara), his son-in-law Adam Cundieff, and his grandchildren Johnny and Jolene Cundieff. He is preceded in death by his father Dale White and his daughter Jessica Cundieff.
