Helen Frontz

Helen Frontz, 80, of Belmont, Wisconsin died on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Sienna Crest Assisted Living, Mineral Point. Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Belmont. Monsignor Monte Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Belmont. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Helen was born on April 9, 1935 in Belmont daughter of Raymond “Ray” and Martha (Snyder) Sornberger. She was united in marriage to Russell G. Frontz on April 23, 1955 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Truman. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2011. Helen graduated from Belmont High School. She worked at Red's Supper Club for many years. She was the church secretary at St. Philomena Catholic Church, and for many years Helen worked for the Village of Belmont until her retirement. Helen served on the Belmont Library Board; she was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church. Helen always enjoyed their annual family vacation to Chetek, Wisconsin. She is survived by two children, Randy (Cathy) Frontz, Martha (Gib) Riechers; four grandchildren, Melissa (Brad) Kettler, Kevin (Ashley) Frontz, Ryan and Travis Riechers; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Tucker Kettler; two sisters, Marge Rehmstedt, Joan (Virgil) Steinhoff; brother and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Carol Frontz and Mary June Frontz. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, granddaughter, Shannon Frontz and sister, Mary Pat Martens.
