June M. Lee, 95, of Platteville, died on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Gray's Nursing Home, Platteville. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Elizabeth Whitford will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. June was born on May 24, 1920, the daughter of Roy and Louella (Bausman) McLimans. She met her future husband, Delbert F. Lee, at the roller rink in Platteville. They were united in marriage on December 30, 1939. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1973. June worked at the Platteville Hospital as a house-keeper for 20 years. June was an avid bowler; she was inducted into the first class of the Platteville Bowling Association Hall of Fame. She is survived by her two children, Sandy (Gary) Baker of Platteville; Ted (Nadine “Dee”) Lee of Prairie du Chien; grandchildren, Corrie (DJ Johnson) Baker; Jobie (Ryan) Hauber; Billie Jo (Sean Barber) Baker; Beau (Heather) Baker; Joylin (Ray) Buchanan; Brandon (Amy Hemmer) Lee; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Shyrle Sedgewick, of Platteville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five sisters.
