So very sorry to hear about Marie, but what a wonderful legacy she leaves behind - all those super grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A kind and very gracious lady but always with that hint of fun and laughter peeking out from her eyes. We know she will be sorely missed by everyone she knew.

To all of Marie's family, Larry and I were so sorry to hear of Marie's death. When I saw her photo I thought what a lovely picture of a very nice lady. I'm sure you have and will have many wonderful memories of your life's journey with her. Take care.....prayers are being said for you all at this time. God's blessings be upon you. Pam

One of the best is now joining our family in heaven. I will cherish the last visit we had to reminisce some of the best times of rural life in Truman, Wisconsin. And although I'm sure she let me win, the games of Old Maid and snipping strawberries kept me out of some trouble! She must have thought we were nuts but it was great to see her visit the hop yard to confirm it. I'm sad that i can not join the service and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with her and all of you. God bless you and keep you Aunt Marie and Uncle Bernie

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Marie to her family and to our world, but I rejoice with you all in the confidence that she now experiences the fullness of God's love.

I will always remember Marie as one of the few people in Truman to occupy the pews at the front of the church. And she usually took the same pew--probably has a spot worn away in the wood that perfectly matches the seam on her trousers. Always so well prepared for the sermon, she was. Her eyes remind me of Dad's--and, indeed, all of the McDonald brothers and sisters. Laughing (at? or with?) us, so full of joy and life, so full of faith, so stalwart, so matter-of-fact. She's gone to set Bernie aright, she has. And one can only imagine the reunion. God bless Aunt Marie--and Uncle Bernie and Uncle James and Aunt Mary and Aunt Anna and Uncle Joe and Aunt Katherine and all of those dear, wonderful people we have known and loved who may be gone, but who will never leave us. And God bless those that remain behind; may they stay strong and well (and that means you, Dad and Mom, Uncle Pat and Aunt Lorna Mae and Aunt Judy and Aunt Teresa and Uncle George and Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Kathy, and all the extended family). Our love to every one of you.
