Florence Hoadley

Florence E. Hoadley, 90, of Platteville died on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic, Platteville. Rev. John Del Priore will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Florence was born on October 4, 1925 in Platteville, Wisconsin, daughter of William I. and Mary (Linden) Fure. She was united in marriage to Gordon J. Hoadley on August 6, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1997. During WW II she worked in Rockford doing airplane assembly. Later on she worked for Alcan doing secretarial work. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Florence is survived by her two brothers, Paul (Donna) Fure and Kenneth Fure all of Platteville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, Clarence and sister, Mary Reuter.
