Living in Peoria and maintaining the Schuldt property in Platteville, I do check the local deaths and was saddened to see Helen Brugger's passing...as I recall, she golfed with my late mom, Zelma Schuldt, and always was a classy lady...I don't believe I golfed with her but know Mom and I did spent many happy hours on the course decades ago. I believe that Joan is a classmate of my brother Michael and want to pass along my sympathy from both of us. I am now over 70 and remember very well the happy days when I was growing up in Platteville and the golf course, both of which are changing constantly...I barely recognize my home town when I return. Please accept sympathy from me...thoughts and prayers are with you and I wish could pay my respect at her funeral.

We just learned of Helen's passing today and we want to express our deepest sympathy. Helen was already the matriarch when I started my first job at State National Bank (now Clare Bank). I told her I was getting married soon and she let me know that she and Heinie were renovating a home they had purchased next to her parents and would be renting it as two units. We got first chance so we rented that beautiful downstairs apartment from them until they decided to build their own new home and they wanted to live there while building. When we bought our own first home it was kitty corner from the house so we were still neighbors. We haven't seen Helen in many many years, but have lots of fond memories as a co-worker, landlord, and friend. What a great lady! Our deepest sympathy to her family.
