Clifton “Cliff” G. Schuler, 62, of Platteville died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. There will be no formal services at this time. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.

He was born on June 16, 1954 in Boscobel, Wisconsin, son of Neal E. and Mary E. (Clifton) Schuler. Cliff graduated from Platteville High School in 1972 and served in the United States Army at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. After serving his country he lived and did masonry in Lawton, Oklahoma for 25 years. He later moved back to Platteville where he farmed with his family outside of Platteville. He enjoyed history and fishing.
Cliff is survived by his mother, Mary of Platteville; children, Dustin (Kathy) Schuler of Florida; Amanda (Hyvel) Wilson of Texas; grandson, Taelor Wilson; sister, Eileen (Terry) McCartney of Platteville; brother, Duane (Laurie) Schuler of Platteville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal.
