Clifford T. Langkamp, 89 of Platteville died on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Epione Pavilion, Cuba City. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville. Father Faustino Ruiz will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there will be a parish rosary at 3:45 p.m., friends may also call at the church one hour prior to mass. Clifford was born on May 6, 1927 in Harrison Twp., Grant County son of Leonard and Violet (Kreiser) Langkamp. He was united in marriage to Darlene Udelhoven on July 14, 1953 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Tennyson. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1946. Clifford worked at John Deere Dubuque Works for 31 years from 1955 – 1986, where he was an inspector. Clifford was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville, where he volunteered many hours for the church and for St. Mary's School. He was enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing volleyball at the Langkamp family reunions, vacationing and working with his hands.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Darlene; two children, Mary Langkamp of Platteville; Roger (Carolyn) Langkamp of Asbury, IA; four grandchildren, Matthew (Katie Woodmansee) Langkamp, Cheyenne Langkamp, Chris (Jamie) Hazuga, and Peter Hazuga; three great-grandchildren, Sophie, Courtney and Maya Hazuga; one sister, Lorraine (Herb) Hottenstein of Platteville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenny Langkamp, three sisters, Blanche Burbach, Ida Marie Linden and Velma Dolter.
