Linda A. (Redfearn) Jackson, 73, of Platteville, formerly of Benton, Wisconsin, died on Saturday November 12, 2016 at Southwest Health Center, Platteville. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Private family burial will be at a later date. Linda was born on January 19, 1943 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of Henderson and Blanche (Cook) Fields. She was united in marriage to Richard Redfearn in November of 1960. She later married Marshall Jackson in June of 1988 in Darlington, WI. Linda enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing bingo, and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Marshall, of Platteville; six children, Jeffery (Lori) Redfearn of Shullsburg, WI; Lisa (Gary) Womack of Platteville; Tami Redfearn of Platteville; Craig (Pam) Redfearn of Granger, IN; Chris (Julie) Redfearn of Benton, WI; and Eric Redfearn of Galena, IL; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Noma Nager of Washington D.C.; Jacqueline (Vic) Brey of Plain, WI; sister-in-law, Grace Fields of Shullsburg; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Charlie, Raymond “Stub” and LeRoy Fields, and three sisters, Anna and Sandra in infancy and Dixie Birkett.
