So sorry to hear of your mother's/grandmother's passing. I was a former Potosi girl and worked at the Grant Co. Dept. of Welfare, which was in the former old jail building on the square in Lancaster. It was the late 50's, I was 18-19 years old ( your mother about late 20's,) and I was her clerk-typist in Child Welfare Dept. She was a beautiful person in all ways and much loved by many. I have many good memories of her. She was so very attractive and I wanted to look just like her. Your family also lived in Platteville when my family lived there in the early 60's and I did see your mother and father out and about occasionally. We moved to Janesville in 1964 and I just recently learned that your family also has lived in Janesville for a number of years. So sorry I didn't know this sooner so I would have loved to visit with her. God Bless!!

I worked with Prudie at social services and she was one gracious lady. I can always, for some reason, remember a party she had at her house years and years ago. My thoughts are with you and yours.
