Jon was born in Platteville, Wisconsin on July 25th, 1989. He received his High school diploma from South Western Technical College in 2007, and went on to earn a masonry and brick laying certification from South Western Technical College in 2009. He worked as a professional mason and brick layer for several years before launching his own masonry and brick laying business, Eversoll Masonry.  Jon leaves behind a legacy of beautifully well-made masonry work in the Platteville area, including many historical projects.  His work was built of unique, and creative, professionally done craftsmanship. It was his labor of love.

Jon enjoyed spending time with his little girls, and especially the experience of being a father.  He loved being with those he cared for, looked up to, as well as who he looked out for.  Jon enjoyed many outdoorsman activities including hunting and fishing, and time away at the family cottage.  He was always up for a good game of Frisbee golf or beer pong, and loved to be the life of every gathering of which he was a part.  Jon looked forward to his annual trip west with, “the boys”, and cherished the close friendships which he had developed through his lifetime.

Jon is predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, Louis “Jack” Jonathon Eversoll, and Lester Paul Oatsvall, cousin, Janice Eversoll-Scantlin, and beloved brother dog, Bowser.

Jon is survived by his loving children, Maci Lee Ann Eversoll (5), and Lilliona Elaine Eversoll (4), both born in Platteville.

Jon is lovingly remembered by his parents, David Jonathon and Charlotte Elaine Eversoll of Platteville; sister, Nicole Ashley Tyc (Eversoll) and brother-in-law Matthew Alexander Tyc of Stratford, Connecticut; paternal grandmother, Rita Mary Eversoll of Platteville; maternal grandparents, Tom and Grace Ellen Coman of Tomah, Wisconsin; nieces and nephew. Olivia, Moira, and Jack Tyc; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends, as well as his dog, “Buddy” AKA “Buddy Wubba Waaaay!”

I met Jon not long ago, at The Ticket Bar & Grill while back home in Platteville. We sat at the bar together as he devoured a huge plate of steak bites as well as a mountain of chicken! We visited and I felt like I'd known him forever, what a nice young man, I thought! He did the brick work on my building and I looked forward to his warm smile and a friendly conversation while he explained the how and whys of mason work. He was so patient and answered my barrage of questions in a way that made me feel as though he deeply cared. We texted back and forth the night before he passed with ease, as always, regarding snow removal with a final "Sounds good thanks." I am thankful that God, master of all, has granted me the brief opportunity to meet, know and love Jon Eversoll. Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. With love, Stephanie Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

As so many of us say over and over, just don't know what to say. One friend said it perfect, I learned today someone can hide their pain very well. For the short time I knew you, I would have never guessed anything like this. The professional job you done on my chimmney, I thank you for the last time. I gave you my swing set for your kids and we talked about the wood you saved to build your own and the city sent it threw the wood chipper. That made you upset, but the new was better. This is crazy!!!!!
